Overview:
The cafeteria aide serves customers in the cafeteria. Stocks and performs general cleaning in the cafeteria area to department standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
- GED or High School graduate preferred.
Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Working Conditions-Physical Requirements & Atmosphere:
- Moderate physical effort, with ability to push, pull, and lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended time.
- Knowledge of principles of food safety and sanitation.
- Ability to interpret, understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

- Maintains records of temperatures as prescribed.
- Assesses food for quality in temperature and appearance, reporting problems to supervisor if product does not meet standard.
- Performs other related work as required or requested.
