Cafeteria/Housing Assistant - Utah State University : Job Details

OverviewThis is an hourly non-benefited position that will work up to 19 hours per week. Hours may vary from daytime to evening hours and weekends as needed. Assist cafeteria staff with food prep, customer service and cleaning of kitchen and cafeteria. Help with the periodic cleaning of dormitories. Position is located on the USU Blanding Campus.There are multiple openings for this position.Responsibilities* Assist in the food preparation and cooking in cafeteria as directed by cafeteria staff.* Help wash dishes both in dish room as well as kitchen area.* Clean personal work space and assist in the nightly and weekly cleaning of the cafeteria and kitchen.* Assist customers with cash register sales and other needs.* Help with catered events as needed.* Assist with periodic deep cleaning of student housing and other related facilitiesQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:* Must have a current food handlers permit or be able to obtain one.* Must have great customer service skills.* Must be dependable and have the ability to follow directions.* Ability to work a varied schedule.Preferred Qualifications:* Food services experience a plus.Required DocumentsAlong with the online application, please attach:Resume to be uploaded at the beginning of your application in the Candidate Profile under Resume/CV Document size may not exceed 10 MB.Advertised Salary$7.25 - $10.00 an hourADAThis position requires moderate physical effort.
