Job Description :
We are currently looking for a Part Time 38 Cage Cashier to join our Ada Gaming Operations Unit 6 team located at the Ada Gaming Center.Summary:Cashes tickets and chips presented by patrons while maintaining a balanced bank; provides service to our internal and external guests.Responsibilities:* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner- Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made- Greets and engages with a smile- Determines and meets needs- Seeks positive experience and outcomes* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types- Shares responsibilities for maintaining adequate supplies and equipment- Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment- Observes and addresses potential environmental hazards and risks- Maintains and promotes professionalism- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics- Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards- May provide break coverage for others as assigned- May augment staff in other areas as needed based on staffing and needs ratio in regularly assigned unit* Maintain knowledge of and follow all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.* Maintains files, logs, and records* Cashes out patrons and give correct change* Counts and records the exchange of assigned funds at the beginning and throughout the shift with a goal of enforcing accurate exchanges* Balances all funds at the completion of each shift in partnership with a supervisor or manager* All other duties as assignedCompetencies:Essential:* Follow instructions, written or oral * Adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements* Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability* Read, understand and apply regulations and policies* Knowledge of all casino promotions* Communicates verbally with team, departments, guests and managementSkills:Essential:* Must be able to operate related office equipmentExperience:Nonessential:* 1 year directly related experienceEducation:Essential:* High School, GED or EquivalentCredentials:Essential:* Pass gaming background check* Gaming license or permit as required by assigned positionWorking Conditions:Essential:* Smoking - cigarette smoke* Bright and Flashing lights* Fast-paced* Noisy* Communications written, verbal* Interacts with clinical, support, technical, professional or management staff in a variety of settings and situations* Pass pre-employment drug test* Hand-eye coord, reach and grasp* Manual dexterity* Listening and hearing ability* Push/pull heavy carts or equipment of one or more types* Repetitive motions* Sitting up to 100% of shift* Standing up to 100% of shift* Visual acuity for detail, distance, color, depth perception* Day shift* May work evening shift* May work flexible schedule* May work holidays* May work night shift* May work rotating shifts* May work weekend shift
