Under the direction of the Cage Operations Supervisor, the Cage Operations Support is responsible for providing excellent service to Yaamava' Resort & Casino at San Manuel guests, and support to departments that deal directly with casino guests. This role provides support for Cash Dispenser Units (CDU), Automated Teller Machines (ATM), and Cash Recyclers (Glory Machines). Essential Duties & Responsibilities 1. Exchanges currency, coin, chips and monetary instruments. Completes necessary paperwork as outlined in the policies and procedures. Completes tip pool allocations in Casino Cash Trac (CCT). Complies with all IRS requirements for payout. 2. Services Cash Recyclers to ensure availability for team member use. Maintains inventory of currency, coupons, and monetary instruments held in the cage. Monitors money for counterfeit currency, coins, fraudulent identification, and monetary instruments. Services CDUs to ensure availability for guest use. Services ATMs to ensure availability for guest and team member use. Maintains security of cage carts. 3. Handles guest claims and reports to leadership, when applicable. Serves as a proactive team member in the Cage Operations department, by providing prompt, friendly service to both internal and external guests. 4. Ensures compliance with San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, State of California Gaming Compact, National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) Regulations, and Tribal Internal Controls. Completes Federal cash reporting requirements per Title 31 of the Bank Secrecy Act. Ensures control/protection of enterprise assets. 5. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department. Education/Experience/Qualifications
