Calibration Specialist - Technical Source : Job Details

Technical Source is looking for Calibration Technicians for our Pharmaceutical clients here in the RTP area! We're looking for those that have experience working within equipment calibration for manufacturing environments. Within pharmaceutical manufacturing strongly preferred! The qualified candidate will have experience calibrating and performing preventative maintenance on process equipment and lab instrumentation

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and perform preventative maintenance on process equipment and lab instrumentation to ensure GMP/GLP compliance (Bioreactors, Incubators, autoclaves, pH conductivity meters, steam baths, cryo-freezer, etc)
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment and instrumentation such temperature, pressure, weight, balances, and pH
• Perform necessary GMP documentation on work orders, calibration worksheets, and SOPs

Qualifications Required

• 2-5 years of applicable (Metrology, Instrumentation, Calibration) experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of CMMS software
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within collaborative environments
