Leading law firm is seeking a team of experience Document Review Attorneys for a fully remote document review project, must be CA barred. This long-term opportunity will involve reviewing and analyzing legal documents for relevance, privilege, and responsiveness, as part of a significant and ongoing litigation matter. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with document review, legal research, and possess a keen eye for detail, ensuring compliance with discovery protocols and case strategy.

Job Overview:This position offers the flexibility of working remotely while contributing to a large-scale document review project for ongoing litigation. As a Document Review Attorney, you will be responsible for reviewing a high volume of legal documents in accordance with case requirements, and ensuring all materials are categorized, tagged, and prepared for legal analysis. You will work closely with a team of legal professionals and will be required to meet strict deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
  • Document Review: Review legal documents for relevance, responsiveness, and privilege, following detailed guidelines and case-specific criteria.
  • Categorization & Tagging: Ensure proper document classification within document management systems, including review of privileged and confidential information.
  • Quality Control: Maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency while reviewing documents, ensuring that all information is properly identified and flagged.
  • Collaboration: Work remotely with other attorneys, paralegals, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with case strategy.
  • Reporting: Regularly communicate progress, challenges, and updates to project leads and attorneys.
Qualifications:
  • California Bar Admission: Active and in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Prior Document Review Experience: Previous experience in document review, preferably in complex litigation or large-scale projects.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to review, analyze, and organize documents with a sharp attention to detail.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to report progress and address issues in a clear, concise manner.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to deadlines.
  • Technology Proficiency: Experience with document review platforms (e.g., Relativity, Logikcull, iConect Xera, or similar) is preferred but not required.
