Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers.
- Focuses on First Resolution
- Working in Call Center environment
- Schedules appointments for family practice providers.
- Create telephone encounter for Specialty offices.
- Refill Request for family practice providers, within proper criteria.
- Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
- Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information.
- Maintains virtual fax, sends faxes, and retrieves and routes incoming faxes.
- Clinic front desk duties when needed, patient check in/out, collect copays
- Handle provider letters mailed to patients
QualificationsEducation and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Skills and Abilities Ability to speak fluent Spanish preferred
