Under the direction of the Camacho Product Manager, the Brand Activation Manager will lead events and product education programs, while helping facilitate sell-through of the company's portfolio of brands by executing events and trainings at retail and sponsorship events. The Brand Activation Manager will support brand strategy, execution, and digital engagement, as well as lead staff training and education programs. The ideal candidate should be passionate about cigars, have exceptional organizational skills, and a flair for unforgettable brand experiences.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following

Execution Planning and Coordination

  • Develop events and sell-through programming with Product Manager and Sales Team to create interactive and dynamic customer experiences.
  • Develop training and education programs and presentations that are focused on increasing cigar product knowledge.
  • Work in close alignment with the Brand Marketing Team to coordinate logistics of programs to ensure all materials are prepared and organized.
  • Coordinate with venues and Sales Team on scheduling.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team, to ensure consistency in brand language, messaging and imagery that are used in presentations.

Cigar Experience Activation

  • Execute and host event experiences, acting as a Brand Ambassador presenting to large audiences and engaging in intimate 1:1 memorable interactions.
  • Hold interactive training and education events by presenting to an audience. Must be comfortable creating and delivering presentations and have strong public speaking skills.
  • Educate participants about cigar products, brand history, and the art of cigar appreciation.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to provide strategic insights and contribute to the planning and development of the activations and other Camacho activities.
  • Execute Camp Camacho Factory trips, ensuring a seamless brand experience.

Customer Engagement

  • Foster a welcoming and hospitable environment for attendees.
  • Facilitate discussions, Q&A sessions, and tastings to enhance customer engagement.
  • Collect feedback and customer insights to improve future activations.

Brand Ambassadorship

  • Represent the cigar company with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Promote brand values, quality, and uniqueness to participants.
  • Build strong relationships with attendees to enhance brand loyalty.
  • Prepare and present on camera as Brand Ambassador talent for video mediums utilized for B2B and B2C communication.
  • Champion and advocate for the Academy online training platform to increase engagement, boost sign-ups, and drive course completions, fostering enhanced product knowledge and skill development.
  • Responsible for own work and not normally required to direct or supervise other personnel, but may occasionally instruct or show another employee how to perform the work.
  • Must be a self-starter and manage time efficiently.
  • Required to work well independently and along with others.
  • Market travel is required. Estimated travel of 75%
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university desirable; 5-6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous Ambassador Retail marketing and digital experience, preferably from luxury retail.
