Camel Walker - AFRICAN SAFARI WILDLIFE PARK : Job Details

Camel WalkerDescription: Camel Rides are operated daily during our operational season. Daily Camel Rides Staff consists of both a Camel Walker and a Camel Loader. The Camel WalkerWill be trained to handle both of our Ride Camels, as well as how to load guests on and off of them.Will be responsible for the overall well-being and care of these camels, including diet prep, exhibit cleaning/maintenance, enrichment, and training.Will also be responsible for conducting daily Camel Ride operations.Will also be responsible for oversite and care of neighboring exhibits to camel ridesQualifications:Must be comfortable working with camelsMust follow all animal training and ride protocolsMust be physically able to handle the demands of working outside and on feet for up to 8 hours.Must be at least 18 years old.Related coursework or obtaining an education in zoo/wildlife biology, or a similar field is preferred (may also be substituted with relevant work experience).Previous Large Animal handling experience is preferred.To apply:
