Description The Campaign Coordinator is a full-time 12-month position dedicated to management of operations for the Centennial Campaign (Campaign) in support of Tyler Junior College (College) and the Tyler Junior College Foundation (Foundation). This position is responsible to the Director, Advancement Operations (Director). The Campaign has been developed collaboratively between the College and Foundation, a $110 million support organization for the College, the largest of its type in the State of Texas. Essential Functions and Duties Primary Responsibilities
- Serving as the Campaign liaison between professional counsel and College personnel including the Director and VP, Institutional Advancement (VP).
- Managing all Campaign scheduling including appointments with prospective donors and ongoing meetings for volunteer campaign committee and task forces, professional counsel and appropriate College personnel.
- Providing administrative support of various meetings associated with Campaign including agenda development, status report, minutes and follow up correspondence and materials.
- Working with Director and VP and other personnel and external vendors on the development and production of Campaign collateral materials to support both leadership and public phases.
- Working with Director to develop and produce prospective donor lists and ongoing Campaign reports.
- Providing proposals for prospective donors, which includes the drafting and editing of correspondence and support materials.
- Preparing pledge agreements for Campaign and endowment agreements as needed.
- Receiving pledge agreements and reviewing commitments with Director to ensure accurate entry into CRM system.
- Drafting Campaign correspondence including proposal follow up and thank you letters as well as stewardship correspondence.
- Facilitating with Manager, Donors Relations and Special Events all campaign related events for leadership and public phases including development of invitations, guests lists and procedure for RSVP tracking.
- Working with appropriate College personnel to prepare mass appeals during public phase including mailings, emails and social media.
- Remaining knowledgeable about Campaign plans, procedures, timelines and funding priorities.
- Serving as contact for all constituents connected to Campaign.
- Ordering and maintaining Campaign supplies.
- Maintaining and tracking Campaign budget.
- Maintaining confidentiality for all Campaign information, files, documents and reports.

Benefits are paid until your return to work, reach full Social Security retirement age or are no longer considered disabled under the plan.Optional Term Life InsuranceWith this optional plan, employees may purchase one to four times their annual salary in life insurance. The College funds one times the annual salary premium not to exceed $120 annually.OPTIONAL INSURANCE (Coverage fully funded by the employee)Dental InsuranceTwo dental insurance plans are available to full-time employees and eligible dependents.Vision InsuranceThe health insurance plan covers some vision and eye health services, but does not cover the cost of eyeglasses and contact lenses. Additional vision insurance is offered to full-time employees and eligible dependents to help offset those costs.Voluntary Accidental Death and DismembermentThis optional benefit provides additional financial support when there is an accidental death or injury of a certain type.Short-Term Disability If claim is approved, this optional benefit pays 66% of monthly salary after a 30-day elimination period up to five months.Cancer/Intensive Care Plan/Heart Plan/Accident PlanSeveral optional plans are available to employees and eligible dependents through AFLAC.Dependent Term Life InsuranceAn optional term-life insurance policy of $5,000 with accidental death and dismemberment is available for all eligible dependents.Tobacco User PremiumAll participants enrolled in a Texas Employees Group Benefits Program (GBP) health plan must be certified as a tobacco user or non-user. Tobacco users of any age - adults and minors - are charged the $30 tobacco user premium each month.RETIREMENTRetirement The Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) is provided and required for all full-time employees. Full-time faculty an eligible administrative employees may elect the Optional Retirement Program (ORP) as an alternative to TRS.TJC Alternative Retirement PlanThe College contributes on a monthly basis 4% of a full-time employee's salary into an alternative retirement plan administered by TIAA-CREF.
