General Summary: Discovery Place is seeking an experienced Campaign Manager to oversee and manage the administrative and strategic elements of campaigns at the museum. The successful candidate will be highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, strategic, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. In close collaboration with the Chief Advancement Officer and museum leadership, the Campaign Manager will lead the day-to-day operations of the museum's campaigns with staff, volunteers, Board members, consultants, prospects and donors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Overall campaign management and organization including prospect pipelines, tracking, strategy, task assignment, and maintenance of timelines. Prepare all lists, reports and profiles concerning campaign prospects including prospect research. Maintain master campaign calendar to maximize cultivation activities to keep campaign on track. Schedule meetings, prepare talking points, assemble presentations, and prepare museum leaders, Board members, volunteers, and staff for prospect and donor meetings. Manage and maintain records of cultivation strategies, evaluations, solicitations, contact reports and results of all contacts with campaign prospects. Write campaign correspondence including solicitation proposals, meeting requests, and follow up. Prepare regular campaign and budget reports to share with museum and volunteer leadership Collaborate with Development Operations on acknowledgement of all campaign gifts and pledges and preparation of pledge payment reminders, pledge and naming agreements. QualificationsSkills and Attributes
- A minimum of three years of Campaign experience is required. Additional experience with frontline fundraising is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and project management experience.
- A team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in working with prospect research tools and MS Office. Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. Must be able to lift boxes up to 20 lbs. Must be able to drive to off-site meetings and DP site locations.
