SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Under general supervision, to supervise, monitor, and control a middle school campus and parking areas; and to do other related work as required. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A typical qualifying background would include any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and six (6) months experience working with adolescent age students performing supervision and control services supplemented by training or coursework in behavior modification techniques, student supervision or closely related field.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Indoor/outdoor environment; adverse weather conditions, exert heavy force to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 60 lbs.; considerable walking; aggressive behavior and verbal abuse from students/public; occasional exposure to drug related situations.

* CPR/First Aid Certification (NO ONLINE CPR CERTIFICATE WILL BE ACCEPTED)

* Proof of HS Graduation (Copy of High school diploma or equivalent )

PROMOTIONAL AND OPEN TESTING. Open to employees of the District and the public with the selection process resulting in one (1) Eligibility List that will be used to fill current vacancies and any future vacancies that occur within one (1) year or until the list becomes exhausted. Current permanent employees of the District will be awarded seniority points as per the contract. SPECIAL INFORMATION: Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a drug test, TB test, fingerprinting and may include a physical exam. The physical and drug screen are paid for by the District. The fingerprint cost is $40.00 and is paid for by the candidate.
