Campus Safety Officer (Casual Employment) - Gettysburg College : Job Details

Gettysburg College is seeking a Casual Campus Safety Officer (CSO) to work for Campus Safety. These positions will assist other departmental members in fulfilling the expectations of the organizations mission. It is designed to augment the full-time Campus Safety Officers by providing coverage during staff vacation and illness and providing services for special events. Hours and days can vary in accordance with the needs of the Department and the College, to include weekends, holidays, and events. Campus Safety is an unarmed and nonsworn security agency. CS - Os are the primary patrol and public contact personnel for Campus Safety, who perform a variety of security / campus safety duties including event security, campus patrol, dispatching services, enforcing law and policy for campus administrative judicial purposes, and protecting the lives and property within the campus community.
