Campus Safety Officer | Night Shift - Misericordia University : Job Details

Description:Now hiring campus safety officers full and part-time. Shift: 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. Under the general supervision of a Campus Safety Supervisor, this position is a member of a team of officers responsible for providing personal safety for members of the university community through a courteous, helpful and professional manner. This position provides a highly visual deterrent to campus crime while protecting the property and assets of the university. Education:

• High School Diploma or GED.

Experience:

• 2 years' security work experience and/or physical security and protection of assets training; emergency services experience including fire and rescue; military and/or law enforcement experience; experience using radio communications equipment.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Valid driver's license.
• Act 34 clearance
• Act 235
• Law enforcement certification (ex. Act 120)
• Complete University safe driver program with van certification within 30 days of hire

Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered.
