Campuses Custodian (Princeton, Mountainside, Garwood) - Liquid Church : Job Details

Big Win: A servant leader who ensures the cleanliness and presentability of the Liquid Church video campuses, primarily Princeton, Mountainside, and Garwood)The Campuses Custodian (CC) serves under the Facilities & Logistics Director (FLD). The schedule is generally Sunday to Thursday for a total of 40 hrs/week with a possibility for hours during special events.Responsibilities1. Facility Readiness

• Cleaning- The building is to be cleaned weekly for Sunday services and other events.
• Readiness templates- The CC completes a Sunday Readiness Checklist weekly and a Safety Review Template at least monthly.

2. General Cleaning Sunday Services- Princeton

• Spot-clean floors in case of spills throughout the building.
• Clean and sanitize bathroom surfaces and replenish all paper products and soap.
• Collect and remove the trash.

Weekly- Princeton, Mountainside, Garwood

• Perform large-scale cleaning to floors throughout the building (e.g. weekly vacuuming of auditorium and classrooms, mopping hard surfaces, deep-cleaning of floors, etc)
• Clean and sanitize bathroom surfaces and replenish all paper products and soap.
• Assist in cleaning of other building spaces (i.e. office) when needed.
• Collects litter and trash from all building areas and empties outdoor trash receptacles.
• Dust and clean furniture and auditorium seating when necessary.
• Clean mirrors and windows, when necessary

3. Supplies and Maintenance

• Order cleaning supplies and paper products from preferred vendors.
• Ensure Janitorial Equipment is properly maintained

4. Facility Coordination- Princeton

• Serves as a contact for emergencies related to any of the building's systems
• Report any damages or other needs to the FLD.

5. Volunteer Teams

• In coordination with the Campus Manager, recruits, retains, and rewards a volunteer team to help with Sunday support, and Cleaning for all three campuses.

Qualifications

• Experience - 1-2 years experience as a custodian, janitor, or similar role.
• Abilities - Experience with commercial cleaning equipment and tools.
• Knowledge - Safe handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals and other hazardous substances.
• Availability - Needs flexibility to be able to work for special events a few times a year.
• Organization- Can manage multiple tasks and responsibilities and keep everything working towards the desired objectives
• Relational Ability - A people person who works well with staff and volunteers of varying personality types.
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
