**Job Summary**

This position will be responsible for providing data modeling/configuration solutions and system application expertise to the manufacturing and engineering business teams in the MES Camstar system. Working at the intersection of business and technology, this role will support the development of software modeling and user interfaces to provide visual manufacturing execution to manufacturing and engineering teams. The position will play a key role within an upcoming Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation and beyond, using an off-the-shelf software application.

**Job Details/Responsibilities**

+ Define business users' requirements to highlight business needs where data can be used to improve business activities

+ Work with process owners, consultants, and IT to develop conceptual/logical/physical data models, and build data flows

+ Ability to liaison with data architects to create optimal data models, and maintain data maps across related systems

+ Define data modeling standards to facilitate data migration, data integration, and other data management tasks

+ Address project requirements and articulate issues/challenges to reduce project delivery risks

+ Work with Manufacturing master data set up and maintenance (Manufacturing Groups/Process, Material Master, Bill of Materials, Work Centers and Routing)

+ Test workflows and integration with PLM, MES, SAP, etc.

+ Play a role in UAT to ensure a successful release

+ Assist with user training documentation and training sessions

+ Responsible for quality, management and maintenance of development templates, standards, documents, and repository throughout the project and later

+ Perform additional duties as assigned

+ In collaboration with SAP COE Leader and project consultants, Develop and maintain roadmap for the Plant level solutions, ensuring it reflects the current and future business needs, aligned with industry best practices and solution roadmap

+ Responsible for developing standard business process design, configure, test, deploy and support Dematic Staging Director(Material Handling Control System), MES Camstar, and

+ Enhance business processes through the development of regionally relevant solutions to meet business needs.

+ Work with Consultants/Developers to clarify any requirements as needed

+ Perform unit testing and ensure satisfaction of the documented requirements

**Job Responsibilities (continued)**

Ongoing Support & Maintenance:

+ Respond to User Help Desk tickets for disposal of service requests from business users.

+ Provide shop floor and MES related support.

+ Analyze and reduce support calls / issues

+ Complies with environment, security, health, and safety requirements

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

+ Provide functional advisory support to ad hoc MES and non-MES led initiatives in other subsidiaries to support managerial decision making

+ Drive the Standardization of all Plant level systems with Enterprise systems like SAP S/4 to ensure proper design, development testing and deployment

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)**

+ Familiar with SOX and IRM compliance

+ Familiar with FDA CFR Part 11 Software Validation processes

+ Keen analytical skills

+ Keen sense of maturity, judgment and diligence required to:

+ Secure company's financial interests; and,

+ Avoid exposures to expensive delays and cost overruns.

+ Strong inter-personal and communication skills

+ Ability to cope with stress and continuously changing demands/priorities

+ Willingness to learn new skills/techniques/processes

+ Strong knowledge of metadata management, data modeling, databases, and related tools

+ Write queries in PL/SQL or Transact SQL

+ Knowledge of MES interface with other enterprise applications like PLM, SAP, ComplianceWire/TMS-Web, etc.

+ Comfortable working in a collaborative environment

+ Ability and flexibility to work under pressure and tight deadlines

+ Extremely detail oriented with proven multi-tasking skills

+ Strong presentation skills and a confident communicator

+ Strong knowledge in Manufacturing, Quality and logistic execution business functions

+ Knowledge of project methodologies like Scrum, Agile, Waterfall

+ Proven experience in eliciting requirements

**Qualifications/ Background Experiences**

+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

+ Minimum three (3) years of experience in Siemens Camstar Configuration/Modelling with 1 Camstar MES implementation in a manufacturing domain experience required

+ Experience in Medical Device / Life Science Industry is preferred.

+ Experience of Integrating with and ERP package software is required, with a preference with SAP ERP

+ Previous experience with MES implementation - OpCenter Execution Medical Device and Diagnostics (Camstar) software preferred
