Job DescriptionViridian Staffing's (www.viridianstaffing.com) Client is looking for Temporary, On-Demand Cultivation and Packaging Technicians to help with packaging duties during a very busy season for a cannabis company in the Barry, Illinois, area. Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing is the Original staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting firm solely dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis / hemp industry.As a Packaging Technician, you will help to measure cannabis products, package the product, and then label the product accordingly. You will also get to help collect samples and perform tests to ensure quality. You may perform a variety of other processing and cultivation tasks as needed from potting, watering and pruning, to take down and trimming. While experience packaging or cultivating cannabis is not required, you should have experience adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to closely follow standard operating procedures is required. You should also have the ability to sit, stand, twist, and kneel for up to 8 hours.
