Cannabis Trim Technician - Highway Horticulture, LLC : Job Details

Highway Horticulture has built a state-of-the-art cultivation facility in Cassopolis lead by one of the best cultivators in the country! The Cannabis Trim Technician will help to take our dried and cured flower to a beautifully manicured bud that will end up on the top shelf of dispensaries throughout the state. This is a fast-paced position and requires a keen eye for detail, high quality and safety standards, and the ability to perform repetitive and finely tuned scissor trimming.Job duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Trim and manicure flower to quality standards set by the cultivation management
• Maximize production and minimize waste of quality flower
• Adhere to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures
• Maintain a clean work environment, including tools, station, and room
• Identify subpar quality indicators, mold, pests, etc. and communicate questions or concerns to cultivation management
• Work closely with fellow team members, while being able to perform independently
• Operate in adherence to all company policies and state requirements for cannabis operations
• Ad-hoc cultivation duties as requested by cultivation management

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the US
• Michigan requires a criminal background check on everyone working in the cannabis industry
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, kneel, bend, and sit for long periods
• Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, performing repetitive and finely-tuned scissor trimming
