Piper Maddox has just been engaged in a confidential exclusive search, by one of the most established IPPs in the nation, in the pursuit of finding their next Capital Markets Associate.

This organization has been around for about 6 years at this point, and acts as a portfolio company of one of the most established and prolific investors in infrastructure in the entire global economy. With the explosion of opportunity within the renewables sphere, this parent is prioritizing this shop's continued growth and development at an exceptionally high level.

Acting as one of the leading players in the industry in BESS development, they have a pipeline of nearly 22GW of utility scale storage and hybrid assets in active development, and about 30 utility scale assets fully operational right now - with the level of funding that is behind them given their parent, there are absolutely no plans of slowing down.

Unlike other IPPs, their Investments/Capital Markets function is very holistic, with deal structuring, capital raising, and M&A all falling under the purview of the same team, naturally making them absolutely pivotal to the company's continued success and growth.

They are looking for an Analyst/Associate to directly report into the Director of Project Finance, and play a crucial role in their transactional analysis, execution, and management efforts, as they progress.

The ideal candidate would have:

-3-5 YOE within renewable energy project finance or capital markets

-live deal experience with exposure to interfacing with investors

-the ability to live in, or relocate to Austin, TX, Salt Lake City, UT, or Toronto, CA.
