Role description: Arcadis is seeking a Project Manager that will support the Program Director in leading the delivery of the overall project, working closely with Project Technical Leads, Area Leads and Subject Matter Experts to deliver the project. Role accountabilities: • Provide leadership and be accountable for delivering the project according to approved scope, schedule, and cost plans. Interface with other disciplines and stakeholders to ensure the project meets business needs. • Provide leadership and be accountable for the site safety program. • Provide required project communications for their specific scope of work. • Ensure project is delivered in a manner compliant with the overall Lilly/GFD program expectations. • Plan, monitor and control project activities for the area(s) involved, and report progress against plan to Lilly GFD. • Lead and Manage project resources for successful project execution, and communicate staffing requests needed to meet project timelines to Lilly GFD. • Lead preparation of requests for proposal and bid analysis for the area(s), and support preparation of cost estimates for project gate reviews. • Manage project risks, record issues into centralized issue tracking system, and document and share lessons learned with Lilly GFD. • Support schedule development, integration, and analysis for the area(s). • Coordinate execution of project integrated change control for the area(s). • Other duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience: • BS in Engineering (or similar field), or equivalent professional experience. • 8+ years working project management experience in the Life Sciences industry, formal Project Management credentials are desirable. • Previous experience in the delivery of large capital projects in the Life Sciences industry. • Proficiency in commonly used project management tools (scheduling-P6/MS Project, metrics, risk management) and MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) • Excellent teamwork abilities and willingness to take on responsibilities beyond the traditional project manager role. • Ability to multitask and prioritize a variety of tasks within a short timeframe. • Proven knowledge of GMP's, regulatory requirements, and commissioning, qualification, validation (CQV) practices. Project Manager • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audience. • Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required.
