Location: Indianapolis, IN

Hire Type: Open-ended Contract, Onsite

Target Pay Range: $50.00 - $60.00/hour (W2, with full employee benefits)

Job Summary:

Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our team in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects by analyzing proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. This role requires a strong understanding of materials, labor, and other cost factors to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Job Duties:

  • Analyze project requirements and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
  • Review blueprints, technical drawings, and other documentation to determine project scope and costs.
  • Gather and assess quotes from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate pricing.
  • Develop and maintain cost databases to streamline the estimation process.
  • Prepare and submit detailed bid proposals and cost breakdowns.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering recommendations.
  • Track project costs to ensure alignment with initial estimates and budgets.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and best practices in estimating.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • 8 years of experience in cost estimation, procurement, or project management.
  • Proven experience as an Estimator in Facility Construction
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools such as Primavera P6.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
  • Experience working with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
