This rapidly growing Institute features six acute care hospitals and collaborates with Cardiology Associates of Fairfield County to enhance cardiac care. Our integrated team of caring specialists utilizes cutting-edge technology to deliver coordinated and comprehensive cardiac services.

Position Overview: Nurse Practitioner (APRN) / Physician Assistant - Electrophysiology

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient care for adult cardiology patients, specifically supporting a dynamic Cardiovascular/Electrophysiology program.
  • Management of cardiac implantable devices, such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders in an outpatient environment.
  • Evaluate patients pre and post-intervention, delivering patient education, clinical assessment, medication management, and effective message triage.
  • Cardiology background is required with a preference for Electrophysiology experience; successful candidates will have expertise in managing arrhythmias and knowledge of anti-arrhythmic and anticoagulation therapies.

Schedule: Full Time - Exempt - 40 hours - Monday through Friday

Qualifications

Advanced Practitioner Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master's Program
  • Current or eligible licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA-C), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Adult Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) in Connecticut
