CARE ASSOCIATE - EVENINGS - Area Agency On Aging Of Western Arkansas : Job Details

Provides assistance in daily living and personal care in patients' homes in accordance with an established care plan. Follows assigned plan of care and notifies staff nurse of changing or unusual conditions. Assists patients by providing personal services such as grooming, bathing and dressing. Supports patients by providing housekeeping and laundry services; shopping for food and other household items; preparing and serving snacks and assisting with eating; as defined in assigned plan of care. Assists client with mobility/transfer, getting in and out of bed or chair and/or walking. Obtains emergency assistance if required. Participates in all scheduled in-service meetings. Projects a professional image and attitude at all times. Wears company-issued ID badge and company-approved uniform while on duty.
