The person hired into this role will have the opportunity to apply for open positions in the University.The Care Coordinator will oversee the implementation and operations of the Building Family Foundations: Leveling the Field for Student Parents (BFF) grant at Herzing University's Minneapolis campusEDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSAssociates Degree or two years of equivalent experience working in a higher education setting.Experience with student management systems and/or electronic databases.RESPONSIBILITIES:The BFF Care Coordinator position has the general duty of managing the day-to-day goals of the project and to serve as an additional resource for students.Implementation of Grant InitiativesCoordinating on-campus and individual childcare services.Developing a family-friendly study space.Organizing family-oriented student orientations.Outfitting a care closet.Oversee Daily OperationsManage the day-to-day activities of the BFF program.Resource Development and Community ConnectionDevelop and maintain a list of viable resources and supports for parent and parenting students. Build connections and partnership in the community for resource and support.Achieve Grant GoalsTrack activities and metrics related to grant goals with periodic reports as to goal progress.
