Care Giver Full-Time - Home Instead : Job Details

Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Care Professionals, to become a part of our Mobile County team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults through out our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion. Previous care giving experience is preferred but not required.Duties Include, but are not Limited to:Companionship and conversationLight housekeeping task, and meal preparationMedication and Appointment remindersAssistance with personal careMobility assistanceIncontinence care assistanceSome transportation needs to and from appointments, errand, ect...Alzheimer's/ dementia careKnowledge of how to use a Hoyer lift and or a gate beltRequirements to be a Care ProfessionalThe ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respectThe ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial mannerHave a clear criminal background checkHave a drivers license and Insurance and a good driving recordPositive employment reference check and stable work history Pass a drug screenDependability and reliability is a mustWe have a variety of shifts available.
