You will receive comprehensive orientation and training, partner with a buddy  out in the field, and have access to ongoing learning and support.As a Care Worker servicing clients in Young and surrounding areas (including Harden), you will enable our clients to live their best possible life, supporting them to live independently at home and doing the things they love by helping them with everyday activities such as (but not limited to): Support and assistance with personal care such as showering and dressingHousehold cleaning and laundryMeal preparationProviding respite for carersTransport to and from appointments/shopsSocial supportAssisting with complex care needs What do we need from you?You will need to be comfortable working on your own in the community, have excellent verbal communication skills, and possess an empathetic, patient, and caring nature. This role requires a valid driver licence and a reliable motor vehicle with a minimum Third-Party Property Damage car insurance, as you need to travel to our clients' homes. You will be provided with a company mobile phone to access emails, rosters, and client care plans.It is a requirement that you undergo background checks including a police check.
