In this engaging role, you'll be the superhero our residents need, delivering personal care and support while enriching their lives with fun social activities and household assistance. Your daily adventure includes implementing Individualized Service Plans, ensuring each resident gets tailored care. If trained, you'll safely distribute medications according to MAR and keep a keen eye on resident health, reporting any changes to the Shift Manager or RN.

Your detailed record-keeping will play a crucial role in our care process, while you provide essential services like bathing and oral hygiene, plus weekly vitals and weights. To thrive as a Resident Assistant at Valley VNA Senior Care, you'll need a solid set of skills and experience! ???? First off, having at least 1 year of experience in an assisted living CBRF or nursing home is a must. You should be seasoned in providing compassionate services to elderly, disabled individuals, or those with dementia. Strong verbal, reading, and written communication skills are crucial, as you'll be interacting with residents, families, and staff daily.

Familiarity with Hoyer lifts and sit-to-stands will help you ensure resident safety and comfort. Plus, delivering outstanding customer service is essential to creating a warm and welcoming environment.
