We seek patient and dedicated caregivers to assist adults with disabilities in their neighborhood home. Our Caregivers / DSPs provide support to adults living in CILA homes (Community Integrated Living Arrangements) with around-the-clock care. Developmental Foundations, a family owned company providing quality residential services since 1986, is hiring Part-Time Caregivers / DSPs at our home in Arcola, IL.What you can expect:

Pay:

• Starting at $17.00/hr

• DSP training is provided and paid. Once trained, you will become a certified DD Aide and will be added to the Health Care Worker Registry (HCWR)

Qualifications:

• DSP or CNA experience beneficial, but not required
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required
• Entry level position. DSP training is provided and paid

Requirements:

• High school diploma/signed high school transcript including graduation date/G.E.D. - high school completion or equivalency is required
• Successfully complete and pass background check
• Weekend availability is required

• Companionship and caregiving
• Housekeeping and meal preparation
• Assistance with medication
• Assistance with personal care, including bathing and toileting
• Ability to stay alert and responsive
