Caregiver for 17-Year-Old Female with Special Needs - ExpertCare : Job Details

Position: Caregiver (CLS & Respite Services)Location: Harrison Township (Recipient's Home & Community)Schedule:

• Weekdays: Open availability after 3 PM
• Weekends: Open availability
• Hours: 10 CLS & 3.75 Respite hours per week

Pay Rate:

• CLS: $18.35/hour
• Respite: $17.85/hour

Job Description:We are seeking a patient and supportive caregiver to assist a 17-year-old female with Bipolar Disorder, Cannabis Use Disorder, and ADHD. The caregiver will focus on developing coping skills, initiating conversations, and promoting community inclusion.

Responsibilities:

• Support in developing and practicing coping strategies
• Encourage and assist with social interactions
• Promote community inclusion through outings and engagement
• Provide companionship and ensure a safe environment

Additional Details:

• Verbal individual
• Non-driving candidates welcome
• Household includes 1 cat and 6 small dogs
• Non-smoking environment
• 8 siblings in the home

Qualifications:
