Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and companionship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management as required.
  • Monitor and document clients' health and behavior, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities and social interaction to promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
  • Support clients in managing household tasks, including laundry, light housekeeping, and grocery shopping.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare providers to coordinate care.
  • Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including infection control practices.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in caregiving or related fields is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a caregiving role or related experience is preferred.
  • Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and assisting clients.
  • Basic first aid and CPR certification is preferred.
  • Flexible availability, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable).
