CAREGiver - Home Instead : Job Details

CAREGIVERS NEEDED! In home, one on one care for short shifts (4 to 6 hours). Additional hours may be available with clients if desired.Must be willing to work ALL of our service area (not just in one city) Milford, Novi, Wixom, Highland, Walled Lake,and Commerce

• Skills – We're looking for individuals that are compassionate, social, trustworthy and service-minded. Professional experience working with senior citizens is desired.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assistance with personal care-bathing, toileting assistance and incontinence care, dressing and grooming.
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect

The basic requirements to be a Home Instead employee are as follows:

-Valid Michigan driver license or identification card

-Reliable transportation

-Background check, and drug testing at our expense.
