Caregiver - Paradise Villa Elderly Care : Job Details

We have opening at Paradise Assisted Living and Memory Care, we understand that the simplest acts of kindness make a big difference in people's lives. Paradise Villa is a locally owned and operated residential care facility for our active seniors that offers affordable long-term care including rehabilitative care, respite care, hospice care, and memory care. We are located a few blocks from the Pacific Ocean in Beautiful Santa Cruz.

We are welcoming interviews for talented, experienced caregivers who understand how to provide assistance with daily living activities such as dressing toileting, hydration and nutrition, look after skin health properly, etc. in the RCFE environment to meet with our team for an opportunity to join our group. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Documentation of intake and output of fluids, behaviors, and tasks
• Provide light housekeeping such as beds, trash, cleaning up space behind you (leaving the room better than you find it)
• Providing resident care while following all rules and regulations of title 22 and the state.
• Promote the highest degree of quality care and services to our residents when needed in accordance to the company's policies
• must maintain certifications
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to make choices, decisions and act in the resident's best interest
• Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication with staff and with Doctors and Pharmacies
• Log all times, residents, medicines, etc.
