Job Overview
We are seeking a couple compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional support to our senior clients in their homes or in our community care settings, particularly supporting and assisting them with their morning routines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting individuals with daily living activities, managing behaviors, and ensuring a safe & comfortable environment. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care and the ability to work effectively in a home care setting. We operate on a two week schedule, allowing consistent care for the clients.
Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle, with a willingness to transport clients as needed is a requirement. The travel expectation is that you can drive to a client as far west as Rochelle, south to Somonauk, east to Route 47 Elburn/Maple Park, and north to Pingree Grove.
Availability Requirement
Duties- Provide one-on-one care to clients, including assistance with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.- Support clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication management, and housekeeping.- Develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to each client's unique needs and preferences.- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.- Provide transportation to appointments and errands as needed.- Maintain a clean and organized living space, adhering to our organization's standards for cleanliness and safety.- Build strong relationships with clients and their families, providing emotional support and companionship.- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
