Job Overview:

As a Caregiver at BrightStar Care, you will provide compassionate care as directed by a nursing supervisor, including but not limited to:

Bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities

Taking and recording vital signs, assisting with height and weight measurements

Providing care according to the patient's plan of care

Assisting with daily tasks such as feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping

Providing transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

Current, valid state certification in good standing

Certified CPR and negative TB test or chest x-ray

Minimum of one (1) year of documented healthcare experience preferred

Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile (requirements based on case assignment)

Physical ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds

Strong empathy for the needs of clients
