Voices For Independence, a prestigious center for independent living with facilities throughout Western, PA, has an immediate need for a Direct Care Worker to assist individuals with disabilities.This position offers:• PAID TRAINING• FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING• PAID TIME OFFStart or continue a career helping others in a rewarding, fun, and growing field.Duties and responsibilities of this job may include assisting people with disabilities with light housekeeping, laundry, bathing, dressing, along with meal prep & clean up. Candidates may also schedule medical appointments and facilitate social & leisure activities.Experience working with persons with disabilities is beneficial but not required. Reliable transportation is preferred. Working some weekend days is expected.Hours available: Find your best fit with schedules up to 40 hrs. per week available! Current need: 2nd and 3rd shift 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am. Monday- Sunday.
