We're seeking an empathetic, dedicated, and experienced Home Care Aide or caregiver to join our close-knit team in San Francisco County, CA. Your role will be to provide exceptional care and companionship to our clients. Our Preferred Candidate:

• A positive and patient personality

• Excellent communication skills: ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed.

• Prior caregiving experience for older adults and the elderly (we provide training if there is no experience)

• Experience with Hoyer Lift (as needed)

• COVID vaccination card and current negative TB result

• Driver's License and Car Insurance

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• US Work Authorization

• CA HCA ID# (Home Care Aide) – Required (we can help you with this process)

Your abilities:

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed.

• Share your expertise in in-home care or a related field, bringing your unique experience to our team.

• Bring your heart to work - your compassion and dedication to enhancing your clients' lives.

• Communicate with kindness and empathy, building trust and rapport effortlessly.

• Have reliable transportation to reach our clients' homes across Santa Clara County.

Responsibilities:

• Enhance client's lives with compassion, respect, and dedication

• Embrace the role of a caring, reliable, and pleasant companion who provides high-quality personal care and support.

• Perform client-specific activities such as medication reminders, range-of-motion exercises, etc.

• Provide comfort by assisting with bathing, dressing, daily activities, companionship, emotional support, and meaningful interactions.

• Perform light household tasks (e.g., light laundry, dishes, and basic home upkeep) that clients can't complete independently.

• Plan and prepare meals with the clients' assistance when possible.

• Build strong relationships through clear communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

• Accompanies or drives clients to appointments, runs errands, and shops with clients when possible.

• Report any unusual incidents.

• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies
