Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain safely in their homes. These services include companionship, home helper, and personal care. These services are meant to enhance the quality of life for seniors. Home Instead Care Professionals help clients and their families meet the challenges of aging with dignity, pride, care and compassion.

Starting Regular Hourly Wage: $16.00 to $20.50

Primary Responsibilities:

• Companionship and conversation
• Provide assistance with ambulation/walking
• Prepare meals and clean up meal-related items
• Provide medication reminders and appointment reminders
• Running errands
• Accompanying clients to appointments
• Provide incidental transportation
• Assistance with bathing
• Assistance with dressing and grooming
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by Bay Vaughan, Inc. (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead franchise)
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach

Expected hours:

12 – 40 per week
