Job Summary: Griswold Home Care, a nationally recognized senior care agency, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers for short hours in the Metrowest Boston area. This is a part-time, hourly healthcare/medical job covering the Metrowest Boston area (Boston, Brookline, Newton, Needham, Wellesley and others. As a Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients by providing them with quality care and assisting them with their daily living activities. This individual contributor role offers competitive compensation of $20 to $35 per hour, paid weekly. Compensation & Benefits: - Hourly pay of $20 to $35 per hour - Paid weekly - Flexible scheduling options - Continuing Education - Supportive and positive work environment Responsibilities: - Provide compassionate and high-quality care to clients according to their customized care plan - Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance - Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, meal preparation, and tidying up - Help clients with medication reminders and tracking - Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social outings - Communicate with clients and their families to provide updates on care and address any concerns - Document care provided and any changes in the client's condition - Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor at all times Requirements: - Must have a high school diploma or equivalent - At least one year of experience in caregiving in home care, facility and/or group home - A reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and auto insurance is preferred - Ability to pass a background check and drug screen - Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing educational development - Must have a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors EEOC Statement: Griswold Home Care is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, disability, or any other legally protected status.
