Caretaker, Personal Assistant - SBM Management : Job Details

Description Position at SBM Management SBM Management is searching for a Caretaker/Personal Assistant to join our team! The Caretaker/Personal Assistant will provide comprehensive support to ensure the well-being and comfort of the client. This role involves assisting with daily activities, managing household tasks, and providing companionship. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, reliable, and capable of handling various responsibilities to enhance the client's quality of life.Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.
• Perform household tasks including cooking, cleaning, shopping, and laundry
• Help with mobility and physical therapy exercises as needed
• Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare providers as needed
• Provide companionship, including social interaction and conversation
• Monitor and report changes in the client's health, behavior, or mood to healthcare providers
• Accompany the client to appointments and social events as needed
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the client at all times

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience as a personal care assistant or similar role is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in caregiving preferred
• Valid CA Driver's License
• Knowledge of caregiving best practices and procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds
