Job DescriptionPosition: CarpenterDepartment: Engineering Normal Working Hours:•Varied; Normally 8:00AM to 4:30PM, but will vary dependent upon work assignments and hotel needs. Past Work Experience Requirements:•Journeyman skill level to consist of accepted 4 year apprentice program with classroom time and 8000 worked hours or experience and technical skills equal to the apprenticeship from working in the trade for a number of years Educational Requirements:•High School Diploma or G.E.D. Communication Skills Requirements:•Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers Technical Requirements:•Valid West Virginia Driver's License•Any special skills a plus Physical Requirements:•Lifting up to 70 pounds regularly•Walking •Standing•Climbing ladders, scaffolding, stairs continuously•Ability to work in confined spaces Work Conditions:•Hot •Cold•Dirty•Wet•Long hours•Confined spaces•Working in high places and on scaffolding Required Supervision:•Ability to follow specific general instructions•Independent decision making skills required•Ability to work independently Other Requirements:•Scaffolding erection•Overtime required *Requirements Subject to Change
