Carpenter - Career Concepts : Job Details

CarpenterResponsibilities• Assist senior carpenters in construction and renovation projects• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively• Help install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim• Maintain a clean and safe work environment• Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from work sites• Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear• Participate in ongoing training and skill development programsQualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a vocational program in carpentry or related field is preferred but not required
• Basic understanding of carpentry techniques and tools
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable transportation to reach various work sites
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members
