The Floor Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience
• 1 year of similar work experience
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No experience required and on the job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
• Must have a current Drivers license with no restrictions
• Available to work 2nd shift (6pm-2:30am Monday -Friday)

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

Cleans and maintains floors for 40+ buildings over 3 million square feet. This includes heavy cleaning duties, such as refinishing floors, Carpet Extraction, and cleaning hard surface floors.

• Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
• Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
• Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
• Mobile cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

Responsibilities

• Drives vehicles (if required) to perform assigned scheduled work
• Must pass background check and MVR (Motor Vehicle Report)
• May be expected to make basic repairs
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned
• Ride in company truck onsite to various parts of the campus to perform work
• Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, extracting, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions
• Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications
• Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors
• Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment
• Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs, and equipment
• Services and deep cleans all flooring including restrooms
• Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
