Long Island Center for Recovery is a fifty six-bed inpatient substance use treatment facility located in Hampton Bays, New York.

Job Summary:

Counselor will act as ancillary support to clinical and multi-disciplinary treatment team, providing substance use oriented treatment services. Counselor will provide said services in both individual and group settings.

Job Responsibilities:

• Counselor will participate in regular staff/case conference meetings
• Counselor will complete psychosocial, and various other assessments
• Counselor will assist in formulating person-centered treatment plans
• Counselor will assist in discharge planning process
• Counselor will assist in family oriented psychoeducation and counseling
• Counselor will commit to providing clinical coverage for Primary Counselors
