Everything we do through our ministries and Care Center is to live out the vision that the Lord has given to our church family.The Benevolence Coordinator serves as an integral part of the ESC JEWEL Human Services team who coordinates benevolence assistance, community outreach efforts, resources & referrals for guests, and other related support services. This role provides professional administrative support and coordinates efforts with CARE Center volunteers.CARE MANAGER PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver five-star service to guests, members, and other visitors by providing and gathering a high volume of information across various online platforms as well as email and telephone, or face-to-face in a manner that is professional, poised, and highly compassionate.Work to swiftly troubleshoot conflicts and other issues that may arise while maintaining professionalism and temperament when faced with challenges. Understand when to escalate issues and ensure that appropriate personnel are informed.Responsibilities include tasks such as:Receive intakes from Receptionist. Make contact with clients & request documents to process applications.Reply to emails in Wecare, findhelp.org, and other agencies.Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Community Development and/or Director. CARE MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate is someone that has at least a 2 year degree in Business Administration or two to three years of related experience and a strong:Ability to perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining files and processing paperwork. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and experience with systems such as Microsoft Suite, i.e., Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to manage files and records, design forms, and perform other office procedures.Ability to organize, plan, prioritize work and manage time while orienting on details with an innate ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment while being flexible and approachable.Knowledge and application of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents and to communicate effectively in writing and orally as appropriate for the audience.Knowledge of principles and processes for providing member and community services while actively looking for ways to help people. This includes member needs assessment, meeting quality standards for service, and evaluation of member satisfaction. Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do.Ability to model active learning and listening by understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem solving and decision-making.
