Cashier - AutoZone : Job Details

Job Summary:Cashiers at AutoZone are the face of the company and play a critical role in providing excellent customer service. They handle the sales transactions at the point of sale in an efficient, friendly, and accurate manner.

Responsibilities:- Greet customers as they enter the store and thank them when they leave.- Operate POS systems to handle cash and credit card transactions.- Process returns and exchanges, adhering to company policies.- Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area.- Answer customer inquiries and provide information on AutoZone products and services.- Assist in maintaining the sales floor, including restocking of products and merchandising.

Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Basic math skills.- Proficiency in handling POS systems is preferred but not required.- Ability to stand for extended periods.
