**The** **Cashier:**

Collects cash, meal tickets and accurately makes change for customers as needed.

Handles transactions responsibly and professionally, never leaving cash register unattended. Maintains custody of keys and daily change fund.

Provides prompt, pleasant, courteous and respectful service to customers while controlling traffic.

Reconciles cash accurately. Prepares daily cash receipt reports precisely, accounting for all transactions.

Sets up and maintains coffee station, and stocks beverages.

Assists in setting up food service register counters prior to serving meals.

Communicates problems/issues to Supervisor and assist in problem resolution.

Maintains a clutter free, clean and orderly work area.

Accurately prepares and posts menus on boards prior to each meal.

Stocks condiments, flatware, napkin holders and assists in restocking throughout meal service.

**Qualified candidates will possess:**

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Two (2) years of work experience as a cashier, preferably in a food services environment.
