Cashier (Part Time position, benefits-eligible) - Hunger Mountain Cooperative : Job Details

Customer Service: - Treat customers fairly, consistently, and with respect. - Ensure efficient, friendly and informative service according to established customer service vision and standards. - Begin customer transaction with a friendly greeting such as Hello, how are you today? while making eye contact. - Bag groceries for customers, as needed. - End customer transaction with a pleasant farewell such as Thank you, have a nice day. Remember the cashier is the last staff member the customer will be in contact with. - Familiarity with Co-op policies and procedures in order to answer customer questions. - Refer unresolved questions or problems to the Front End Supervisors, Assistant Manager and/or Front End Manager.
