Cashier-Retail Pharmacy - Mississippi Baptist Health Systems : Job Details

Summary

Handles cash and cash instruments receipt accurately in order to properly reflect the revenue generation of retail operations designed to serve our customers. Promotes a high level of customer satisfaction during client interactions. Maintains accurate and timely, daily reconcile of charges and payment entries and bank deposits.

Responsibilities

* Processes transactions from beginning to end through knowledge of cash register operation, pricing practices and policy, mathematical skills, and customer observation, to ensure proper accounting for goods sold and good customer relations.

* Maintains good client relations by exhibiting knowledge and methods of customer service to guarantee customer satisfaction.

* Promotes customer satisfaction while maintaining a positive, professional manner in both verbal and nonverbal communication.

* Answers telephones, forwards phone calls on a timely basis according to the direction and location appropriate to maintain continuous workflow.

* Completes assigned goals.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Education

Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

Minimum: 1 year of cashier and cash handling experience. Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations

Special Skills

Minimum: Able to type, Familiar with 10 key experience, Excellent customer relations skills. Basic knowledge of Windows applications.
