Job Description Summary: Assists the physician in the evaluation and treatment of patients in the Urgent Care setting. Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree (Required)AANP - American Association of Nurse Practitioners - American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification BoardAmerican Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification BoardAmerican Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board, ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart AssociationAmerican Heart AssociationAmerican Heart Association, CNS - Clinical Nurse Specialist - National Association of Clinical Nurse SpecialistsNational Association of Clinical Nurse SpecialistsNational Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE Must have a current RN license or NCCPA and maintain this license from the Ohio Board of Nursing or . Must have current Certification and maintain this Certification from a national certifying body (AANP, etc. . . ) Must have graduated from an accredited CNP/PA program (Nursing and graduate of an accredited post-Master's Nurse Practitioner Program). Must have ACLS Certification endorsed by the American Heart Association. Three to five years clinical nursing practice in the acute care setting. Requires full prescriptive authority within two years of employment.
