Job Description:
We are seeking a Catalog Specialist with a keen eye for product curation to support a newly launched low-price shopping experience. This role requires a balance of creativity and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate is as comfortable analyzing spreadsheets as they are spotting emerging trends on social media.
This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, requiring strong attention to detail, ownership mentality, and a problem-solving mindset. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Creative, UX, and Marketing, to develop curated product selections that resonate with customers and drive engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Query product data and utilize Excel to analyze large datasets, ensuring inventory health and other key merchandising metrics are met.
- Synthesize historical, seasonal, and trend data with social media insights to curate relevant product selections across multiple categories (fashion, home, lifestyle, etc.).
- Develop and execute product curation strategies for onsite merchandising and external marketing channels.
- Collaborate with creative teams to align curated products with marketing assets and campaigns.
- Stay informed on the latest social media trends, particularly on platforms like TikTok, to inform product selection strategies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency in merchandising operations.

Qualifications & Experience:
Required:
- 2-4 years of experience in merchandising, marketing, styling, or product curation.
- Strong understanding of social-driven trends across multiple categories (fashion, home, lifestyle, etc.).
- Proficiency in Excel and experience analyzing large product datasets.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple workstreams effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear and collaborative written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in online retail or e-commerce merchandising.
- Familiarity with styling in a digital environment.
- Background in marketing analytics or digital content curation.
